North Grow (Copenhagen, Denmark)
First, we have the North Grow, the only cannabis expo in Scandinavia. Denmark is ranked one of the happiest places in the world, and the natives will be even happier if they visit North Grow 2023. The expo is run by well know cannabis activist Smokenhegan, an advocate for legalising cannabis, and what better place to do it than near the famous Freetown Christiania? North Grow has become a must-visit expo for many growers in Northern Europe. Copenhagen is also known for its nightlife, so if you're all expo'd out, there is plenty of non-canna stuff to do in the city.
Product Earth (Warwickshire, England)
The UK is not known for its progressive cannabis laws, but Product Earth is leading the way at the No.1 cannabis expo in Britain. Held annually in the midlands, the event attracts hundreds of exhibitors, vendors, and thousands of visitors. You might expect your run-of-the-mill hemp expo because it is held in England, but there is a little bit of, if you know, you know, with this expo that makes it worth a visit. And if you're looking for some nightlife after dark, you're in luck. Product Earth throws one of the best after-dark events on the expo circuit. You might even get a tan from standing in the English rain.
Mary Jane Berlin (Berlin, Germany)
You might have guessed by the name of this expo that it takes us to Berlin. Mary Jane is one of the most vibrant cannabis expos you can attend and has a real party vibe the whole weekend. It is one of our favourites, and we are there every year to meet and greet some of our German customers. Germany has long had a rich cannabis culture, and MJB is a celebration. And given that Germans are legalising cannabis, there are even more reasons to visit the great city of Berlin.
Spannabis (Barcelona, Spain)
We will take in some tapas on our next stop on our European tour of canna expos. Barcelona is next with Spannabis, one of the most famous expos in Europe, if not the world. Spannabis takes place annually in Barcelona, with the globe's leading cannabis brands converging on the city to celebrate all things cannabis. Cultiva (Vienna, Austria)
In recent decades the progressive laws on cannabis have led to a lively cannabis scene in Austria. Each year, Cultiva Fest takes place within walking distance of what was once the biggest grow shop in Europe. If you're lucky enough to get a room in the hotel the expo is held, you will experience the best expo/hotel breakfast you've ever had. Not only that, you'll get to do it before you meet up with the most prominent industry brands and some of the best people you'll ever meet.
CannaFest (Prague, Czech)
Make no bones about it, Cannafest is a great expo, but it is held at one of the coldest, wettest times of the year in one of the coldest, wettest places in Europe, Prague. Don't let that put you off, though; Cannafest is over a decade old and is going from strength to strength. A last-minute change of location a few years ago forced significant changes, but Cannafest has only grown in size and welcomes more visitors each year. It is the perfect cannabis expo if you're looking for a pre-Christmas break, as it takes place in November and is ideal for picking up stocking fillers for the growing enthusiasts in your life.
